Silvia Fendrik is an Argentinean psychologist and psychoanalyst, renowned in her country of origin as well as in Brazil and in the rest of Latin America. Her work is also well-known in Spain and in France. She is regularly invited to give courses and conferences as guest lecturer by universities and schools of psychoanalysis in all of these countries.
Fendrik is the author of several books on child psychoanalysis and on eating disorders that have been translated into different languages, and she has also published various articles in national and international journals and magazines. She has pioneered the use of Internet resources to spread and share knowledge about psychoanalysis, placing special emphasis on Distance Learning.
